Strategic Plan Outcome: O3. All identities are valued and every student is included.
Strategic Plan Measure: % of students reporting there is at least one adult who really cares about them.
School “SMART” Goal (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely): 100% of students will report there is at least one adult who really cares about them in the student survey by June 2024.
Strategic Plan Strategy: Review student discipline policies and revise Student Code of Conduct to include restorative practices.

Action: Classroom Community Focus

Timeline: Baseline data by fall conferences, November 2023. Summative data by June 2024.
Lead Person Responsible: Principal, teachers grades 4-5.

- The classroom teacher and BH&W team will creaye a plan wioth specific strategies to ensure all students know they have a caring adult as evidenced by BH&W notes and support plans.

Timeline: 6-8 week data cycles.
Lead Person Responsible: Case managers (e.g., counselors, sped case managers). PE coaches, STEAM teacher.
Resources:
- 10 minutes for 10 days; Joiner protocols; Break times/push-in supports; Positive family contacts.
Measures (The quantifiable change in what adult and/or student knowledge, abilities, skills, attitudes or beliefs will occur.):
- Use data team time to assess effectiveness, changes plans, and consult with BH&W.

Strategic Plan Goal Area 2: Foundations of Success

Strategic Plan Outcome: O1. Each student demonstrates proficiency on language and learning targets by the end of third grade.
Strategic Plan Measure: % of 3rd graders demonstrating proficiency on the state Language Arts assessment.
School “SMART” Goal (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely): The percentage of EL students meeting the ELA achievement standard will increase from 14.1% to 20% on the spring 2024 state assessment.
Strategic Plan Strategy: Research-based systematic balanced literacy components including phonics and phonemic awareness curriculum and instruction.
