Vice President

PTO Vice President Shelly Zekmeister

I'm Shelly Zekmeister, and I'm dedicated to making a difference in kids' lives. With two little ones—one started kindergarten this year and the other just turned one—I understand the crucial role a strong Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) plays in shaping a positive school experience. As a 4th-grade teacher in the Hillsboro School District, I've seen firsthand the impact of a supportive PTO. Now, as Vice President, my focus is on increasing family involvement to create a vibrant and inclusive school community. Let's work together to make a difference!

Communications

Hello! I’m Megan Stauffer, your PTO Communication Manager. I have a kindergartener at Kinnaman who is really enjoying her first year of school experiences. Being a teacher in Beaverton, I know how crucial a supportive PTO is to school staff and students. I am hoping this year brings us opportunities to get more volunteers in our school and more money to provide staff with the things they need to enrich the learning of our future leaders.
